Bank Rules
This bank is for the sole use of Beyond the Portals members ONLY!
General Rules
Rule #1 : Melazar will regulate this bank as he sees fit. All decisions regarding disposition of the items within are at his discretion.
Rule #2 : Items held in this bank are the sole property of Beyond the Portals guild, Stormhammer. No single member holds claim
to any item once it is donated to the bank.
Rule # 3 : Any member wishing to purchase or rent an item held by the guild must post such a request on the BTP ezboard, in the
Guild Bank section.
Rule # 4 : Public Record will be kept of who holds any rented item, as well as the date the rental period started.
Rule # 5 : Any member renting an item shall be responsible for the return of that item. If for any reason the item cannot be
returned, fair value of the item or a reasonable replacement is expected.
Rule # 6 : All rules contained herein are subject to change at any time. Suggestions are welcomed on the BTP ezboard, in the
Guild Bank section.
Rules Governing Items
High- End items are defined as rare or not easily obtained items. These may also be items that are considered to be
upper level. These items will be colored RED.
Rule # 1 : A member may Rent (1) High-End item at any time. Rental of any other item within the bank is not allowed as long
as you hold this High-End Item.
Rule # 2 : Rental period of a High-End item will be judged according to demand of the item, but shall expire immediately should
you obtain better for yourself.
Medium Items are defined as items that are common enough though may be upper to mid-level items. Their value is less than that of the high-end items, but are great items none the less. These Items will be colored BLUE.
Rule # 1 : A member may rent no more than (2) Medium items at a time. Rental of (1) lower level item will be allowed while you
hold (2) medium items.
Rule # 2 : If a member holds (1) medium level item, they may be allowed to also rent no more than (2) Low-End items.
Rule # 3 : Rental period of a Medium item will be judged according to demand of the item, but shall expire immediately should
you obtain better for yourself.
Low-End items are defined as highly common and usually low-mid level. Their value is not that of the medium items, but they may be useful nonetheless. These items will be colored YELLOW.
Rule # 1 : No limit regarding the rental quantity of low-level items has been set at this time, except with regard to the rental of the
other Item categories as stated above.
Rule # 2 : Rental period of a Low-End item will be judged according to demand of the item, but shall expire immediately should
you obtain better for yourself.
These items will be donated to those in need. These items will be colored GREEN.
Rule # 1 : You must post your request on the BTP ezboard, in the Guild Bank section.
Rule # 2 : It is intended that these items are distributed on a need basis: you must be of appropriate level and class to be elligible
for any item in this category.
Rule # 3 : If demand is high for a particular item in this category, a roll may be scheduled to determine which member would get
the item in question, should there be limited availability.
Rule # 4 : Again, distribution of any item held by the guild is at the discretion of Melazar.
Items in this category will be for sale to any interested party who is a BTP member. The purpose of this category is to reduce bank clutter, while offering members the first chance at purchase. These items will be colored PURPLE.
Rule # 1 : A reasonable offer is expected for any item in this category.
Rule # 2 : Profits from the sale of any of these items will be used to finance the guild i.e. raids, etc.
Rule # 3 : Any item in this category may also be a rental item until such time as it is sold.
Rule # 4 : Any item listed in this category for a period of a month without interest (for purchase or rental), can and will be sold
publicly on auction or to a merchant, whichever is appropriate.
